Not only did the riders have to contend with the Lindean climb on Wednesday a hail shower was thrown in for good measure, glad summer is here! First on the night over the 17.1 mile course was Neil Shepherd with a time of 44:14, second was George Gannicot 46:44 and third was Graeme Lawrie 46:55. Other riders on the night were Jeremy Weston 47:21, Allan Dawson 48:47, Rob Patterson 50:45, Callum Crawford 51:05, Ross Ketteridge 56:54 (inc puncture), Bill Lowes 58:00, Murray Shiells 1:00:29 and Sarah Hamilton 1:00:55.
Also on the night Alistair Meikle and Rob Martin rode a separate 10 mile. Rob recovering from a sickness at the weekend rode 26:19 and Alistair finished with 23:38.
Thanks again to timekeepers and helpers having to put up with the horrible conditions.
Next week 4th May is a 10 mile starting at 7pm.
As the east wind blows most riders had faster times than last week. Rob Martin comes out on top again with a time of 21:07, second was Ross Laidlaw, 22:48 and third was Alistair Meikle 22:54.

Rob Martin started the confined season as he finished 2015 with the fastest time of the night. On a cold damp night he finished with a 21:52. Second on the night with a good early season time of 23:18 was Neil Shepherd and third was Alistair Meikle 23:54. Other riders on the night were: Nathan Beard 23:57, Graeme Lawrie 26:06, Allan Dawson 26:48, Toby Dawson 27:01, Tony Westbury 28:22, Gareth Murray 28:51, Bill Lowes 28:55, Murray Sheills 31:38, Sarah Hamilton 33:14 and George Hume 35:37.
First confined TT of the season has the field fighting against a strong westerly wind on the 5mile course, however Neil Shepherd came out on top with time of 12:02, second was Nathan Beard 12:20 and 3rd was Alistair Meikle 12:27with other riders in finishing order:
